Silicon steel sheet knowledge
To reduce eddy current and its loss, the composite silicon steel sheet is usually used instead of the whole iron core, and the plane of the silicon steel sheet is parallel to the magnetic induction line. On the one hand, due to the high resistivity of the silicon steel sheet itself, on the other hand, each sheet is coated with an insulating paint or with a natural insulating oxide layer, the eddy current is limited in each sheet, so that the eddy current is greatly reduced, thus reducing the loss of electric energy.

Precautions for transformer testing:
1、Transformers must be tested in a dry, insulated and stable place
2、The operator must wear insulating gloves and stand on the insulating mat to operate
3、The test must be carried out in the designated area, unrelated personnel away from the scene
4、The test must be performed by two persons, one for operation and one for monitoring
5、Check the high pressure handle and wire of the high pressure withstand voltage tester for any damage before test
6、After the end of the test, it is confirmed that there is no high voltage output before removing the connection line
