Transformer windings:

Windings are key components of the transformer, they are made of high-quality oxygen free copper, with our advanced technology and experience, our windings have the following features:

1. The windings are able to withstand lighting overvoltage, transient overvoltage, longtime overvoltage.

2. High heat resistant strength, it’s able to continuous working over 20 years under the heat generate by current.

3. The windings are able to withstand the short-circuit current.

4. High mechanical strength.

Packing and Delivery

Packing attention

Special attention shall be paid to the loading of the transformer when loading: due to the concentrated weight of the transformer, the concentrated load at the bottom of the ship shall be guaranteed when considering the barge to be carried, and reinforcement measures shall be taken if necessary; the bumping wave of the ship shall be taken into consideration in water transportation, and the binding must be firm.

Why does transformers need tap changer?

Although power systems have a rated voltage, but they often operate at voltages slightly above or below this voltage. This deviation from the rated voltage on the primary side of the transformer is seen on the secondary side of the transformer. Transformers are normally provided with taps to adjust the turns ratio to compensate for this supply variance. This will allow the output voltage to be closer to the rated output voltage when the input voltage is off rated voltage.
