This 112 KVA distribution transformer was delivered to Ethiopia in 2013, the rated power of the transformer is 112 KVA. This 112 KVA Step Down transformer 11kv to 0.4kv, the primary voltage is 11kv, the secondary voltage is 0.4kv. We adopted copper wire at HV side and copper foil at LV side. Our 112 KVA power transformer was designed with advanced technology and adopts high quality material and components which result in reliable quality and long operation time.

Finished 112 KVA 11/0.4KV Transformer
Assembly：
The wound coils are placed carefully in the assembled core. Insulations are given wherever required using materials like press board. The CORE bolt and tie rods are fixed in position. The Primary and Secondary windings are connected as per the requirement.
The complete assembly is kept in the Hot Air Chamber and a high temperature is maintained to prevent any moisture in the CORE coil assembly.

Can a transformer convert AC to DC?
A transformer is built to transfer the energy from one circuit into another circuit by way of magnetic coupling. An alternating current creates a magnetic flux in the core on its way through the first winding, inducing the voltage in the others. It can convert high and low voltages; it cannot convert AC to DC.
