Product Introduction
SCOTECH‘s 10 MVA 33KV OLTC transformer was delivered to Zimbabwe in 2019 via an South Africa Company, this 10000 KVA transformer was supposed to be used in a substation for mining company, but the 33KV line voltage from the power grid is not stable, it jumps from 26 to 40kv frequently, so we designed this 33KV to 33KV OLTC transformer to regulate the primary voltage to get an stable 33KV output voltage.
SCOTECH promise each one of our delivered transformers has passed the most strictly test and we remained 0 fault rate record for more than 10 years so far, our oil immersed power transformer is designed in accordance with IEC, ANSI and other major international standards.

Transformer Manufacturing
The core of the 10 MVA power transformer is made of high-quality grain orientated cold rolled silicon steel sheet, the silicon steel sheet is cut by advanced shear line and the burs is controlled within 0.02mm.
Winding: the winding of 10000 KVA transformer adopts high-grade oxygen free copper.
The most strictly quality control had been conducted for each of the transformer during the manufacturing process.

Packing and Delivery
The transformers was send to sea port by truck, it was transported with oil in the tank, the accessories such as radiators are packed in plywood boxes and the transformer body was nude in the ship, we also equipped impact recorder for the transformer.

Transformer Knowledge
After installation of power transformer, several pre-commissioning tests to be done before putting the transformer in service. Along with different pre-commissioning tests, different instruments associated to the transformer also to be checked.

30 days after drawing confirmed by buyer for distribution transformers below 5000kva, bigger transformers depend on the capacity and components, normally 30-90days (with imported components)
