7.5MVA 33KV To 440V Power Distribution Transformer

This 7.5 MVA transformer was delivered to South Africa in 2018. the rated power of the transformer is 7500 KVA.

Product Introduction

This 7.5 MVA transformer was delivered to South Africa in 2018. the rated power of the transformer is 7500 KVA. It is a Step-down transformer 33KV to 440V, the HV of the transformer is 33kv, and the LV is 440v. It has the complete symmetry tri-phased iron core magnetic circuit, which greatly reduces the magnetic resistance and no-load loss, and thus, though adopting the traditional materials, which is more high efficient and energy saving, producing smaller noise and with more compact structure. Our 7.5 MVA transformer was designed with advanced technology and adopts high quality material and components which result in reliable quality and long operation time.

SCOTECH ensure each one of our delivered transformers had passed the full acceptance test and we remains 0 fault rate record for more than 10 years so far, oil immersed power transformer is designed in accordance with IEC, ANSI and other major international standards.

What is the difference between a power transformer and a distribution transformer?

Main Differences. Power transformers are used in transmission network of higher voltages for step-up and step-down application (400 kV, 200 kV, 110 kV, 66 kV, 33kV) and are generally rated above 200MVA. Distribution transformers are used for lower voltage distribution networks to end user connectivity.
